How to break old negative patterns and grow in life?

Here, I shall share my understanding of breaking old, frustrating, and negative patterns and how this impacts your thoughts.  

We all have some type of patterns that can be the old belief which is no longer applicable and second are negative patterns at the level of thoughts. If you feel you have such patterns there is always a key to unlock these patterns. 

Stop explaining and getting worried about negative patterns since they don't serve in your life. Have one to one talk with your inner self to break old patterns. Your desires should align with your actions, and then only old stuffy patterns can be broken and you grow in life. 

Different excuses you give to yourself and get stuck in old patterns that don’t help you. They are 

  • Planning but no execution
  • Lack of Discipline
  • Fear of failure
  • Procrastination
  • Lack of control over thoughts 
  • Fear of taking risks
  • Negative emotions

All these excuses lead a trail of negative thoughts and you have a feel of incompetency. This sucks your energy and you remain stuck in old patterns that you even don't like.

Don't worry there are always ways to break old patterns. Here are some ways:

  • Awareness: Be aware of yourself more than your surroundings. What others are doing is none of your business. What you are thinking and doing matters a lot for you. Be mindful by practicing meditation, yoga, and other breathing exercises. 
  • Analyze after being aware of the situation do analyze yourself. You and your thoughts which are running in your mind are there 24/7. You are the best caretaker of your thoughts. Notice what you think in what situation and how you handle it. This improves your understanding.
  • Retrain your brainCounsel your brain in between a day by noticing your thought patterns and break the chain of negative thoughts. This would surely reduce the burden of old patterns. 
  • Take a break: an intermittent break is important for rejuvenating your body and this charges you. Whenever you are exhaust, take a break and rethink. 
  • Maintain Journal: This can be you’re the best accountable partner. Jot down all your thoughts which you think throughout a day. 
  • Read Articles/ booksThis channelizes your thoughts very well. The point where you want to improve, the books of that particular topic would surely give you answers and all your doubts will help you to clear out old thought patterns.
  • Conscious Emotions: We all have emotions. Negative patterns create negative emotions so be conscious of your emotions. Proper emotional balance helps us to break the negative patterns.  
  • Believe in Yourself:  you are your best friend so believe in yourself. If you believe you can transform and change your negative patterns. It just takes effort.    
  • Friend Circle: Choosing friends in your hand and good friend circle can imbibe positivity, humor, love, care. 
  • Forgive Yourself   

I am sure all these above-mentioned points would help you to break old negative patterns.
